Here at The Orchard Solutions, we believe there is a solution to solve any of your business needs. Each of our services helps to craft the solution that will keep your business running. Whether you are a new business, that needs help from the ground up, or an established business that wants integration of new technology, our consultants are prepared with the knowledge to get you where you want to go.



Classes

____

Training is the most important service we provide.
The Orchard Solutions is Louisiana's Premiere  Apple Authorized Training Center (AATC).
We offer classes in Baton Rouge and Lafayette. We also provided classes at your school or business when there are four or more students.
Our AATC-authorized courses deliver Apple's official curriculum on Apple hardware, OS X, OS X Server and Pro applications.  These comprehensive curricula address a broad range of technical proficiencies and are delivered by Apple Certified Trainers.

Rates

  • What do we charge for our time?
    • We will bill $150 per hour form the time we leave our office until the time we walk out your door. If we are providing remote support we bill $37.50 for every 15 minutes. Our consultants require payment at time of service unless a PO or a terms agreement has been filled out.  Talk to one of our consultants about special rates for retainers or pre-paid hours. 

 

  • Do I need an appointment?[No, but they are helpful]
    • We understand that your time is valuable and that issue with technology never happen on your schedule.  We do work with customer to setup appointments but emailing support@theorchardsolutions.com with a problem description will alert our team to your issue. Customer outside of a retainer our contacted and supported on a first come first serve basis.

  • What are your rates for after hours work?
    • All work performed before 8:00 a.m. and after 5:00 p.m. (local time) on weekdays. Any work preformed on weekends or holidays is considered after hours support. After hours support is billed at time and a half our normal rate or $225 an hour.

Retainers

Clients often find it helpful to allocate a set monthly budget to their IT needs. For those customer looking for a more consistent bill and better rates, the Orchard Solutions offers retainers. A retainer is a fixed amount of hours at a discounted rate of $99.00 per hour. Even if you go over the hours listed for the month, we maintain the $99.00 rate for all hours worked for you.

CHRISTOPHER HOLMES

Chief Executive Officer

Christopher Holmes is the President & CEO of The Orchard Solutions. He is an Apple Certified Trainer and has served on the ACN Advisory Council for the last two years. Christopher was first Introduced to the world of Apple when he bought a Black MacBook in 2006. Since then this enthusiast turned expert has acquired numerous Apple Certifications. He deeply enjoys drinking coffee.

BRIAN SAKOWICZ

Consultant

Brian has been working as a consultant on Macintosh computers since 2003. A born tinkerer, he enjoys digging into things and finding out what makes them tick. Also a successful graphic designer, he was production director for one of the largest magazines in Florida. When Brian isn’t working on Macs, he enjoys being a coach to his son’s soccer teams.

ASHLEY BOREL

Consultant

Ashley has enjoyed various forms of coding and graphic design since high school. While in the graphic design program at the University of Louisiana, she was introduced to the world of Apple. She learned more about the ins and outs of Mac computers while working at The Orchard Stores, gaining several certifications along the way. And hey, she can still work magic with websites and graphics.

STEPHEN MONROE

Sr. IT & Project Manager

Stephen Monroe is the Senior Manager of IT Service and Projects. He holds a degree in industrial electronics. Stephen has a vast array of knowledge in Networking Infrastructure, Audio/Video, Server and Client OSs both Windows and Mac. He also likes leading the team of hard working individuals at Orchard Solutions to help service the south east.

JERAMY LECOMPTE

Lafayette Branch Manager

Jeramy LeCompte started using Mac back in 2004 and has never looked back. Shortly after graduating high school he attended a technical college in New Iberia, LA for IT. He joined The Orchard Stores in 2010 as part of the sales and core bar team. With time, he excelled and was promoted to work for The Orchard Solutions. Since late 2011 Jeramy has acquired several Apple Certifications and now serves as the Lafayette Manager for The Orchard Solutions.


ALLEN HANCOCK

Chief Technical Officer

Allen Hancock received his Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education at the University of Missouri-Columbia. This background in education keeps him coming back to MacTech. Allen started the Mac Consulting Group, where he found his thrill in helping clients make the most of their computing experiences. After selling MCG to The Orchard, he continues to do what he loves most: help make happy customers.

ETHAN HEBERT

Consultant

Ethan has been offering professional Macintosh support and consulting work for the past 6 years. He started using Macs just 7 years ago, switching from a long time windows user and never looking back. When Ethan is not glued to his laptop screen he enjoys visiting local museums and attending festivals, which are plentiful in southern Louisiana.

BRENT ROBIDEAUX

Inside Sales

Brent Robideaux is the Purchaser for The Orchard Stores and The Orchard Solutions. He began working for The Orchard in 2010 as a sales team member and slowly advanced to running the purchasing department two years later. He greatly enjoys his job and all of the friends he has made in his time at The Orchard. In his free time, he enjoys using his array of Apple products and spending time with is friends.
